Hilltop Therapy

The following are some characteristics that are frequently related to language and communication challenges:

• Difficulty staying focused in school

• Easily distractible, especially by noise

• Needs repetition and/or clarification of directions more than usual

• Able to follow only one to two instructions in a sequence

• Overloads from busy or noisy environments (e.g., birthday parties)

• Flat or monotonous voice quality

• Sings out of tune

• Articulation issues in speech
